ULTRASONIC CLEANING EQUIPMENT> ultrasonic washers

The units of the "Compact U.S." or “Special U.S.” series are made up of washing tubs supplied with one or more electrostrictive transducers.

Their operating principle consists in propagating vibrations through the liquid at a variable frequency, that can generate high-pressure and lowpressure waves, resulting in the cavitation of the liquid.

Cavitation produces vapour bubbles that implode and thus hit the walls of the component being treated an infinite number of times. This reduced but diffuse force helps detaching the dry dirt. All reservoirs are constructed in stainless steel and are doubleskinned with thermal insulation.

The construction of multiple stage systems in semiautomatic and automatic versions may be achieved by aligning the single units according to the treatment which the mechanical pieces must undergo.

The following optionals can be installed on demand:

Servo-assisted lid: pneumatically-actuated lids can be installed in large-sized plants.

De-oilers: mainly positioned inside the degreasing tanks, they are used to separate the oils from the washing solutions, so as to prolong their life. The circuit is made up of a pump(3) tapping off from a tank of the plant(4) via a floating tap(2) that follows the level and conveys the liquid to the separation compartment(1). The water leaving this compartment returns to the tank(4), while the oil is conveyed to an external tank(5)

Filtration: filtering systems can be mounted to meet special requirements (1100 microns retention). As a general rule, bag filters(1) are adopted, supplied by an independent pump(3) that tap off the liquid from the treatment tank(4), pushes it towards the filter(1) and conveys it to the reservoir again(4).

Detergent dosing pumps: low-capacity pumps, which inject the detergent inside the storage tanks to offset the product leaks and wear.

Automatic fill-up: the continuous use of the plant often makes the water evaporate, and accordingly the liquid level in the tanks tends to fall in the long run. In order to solve this problem, suitable systems can be installed, that automatically restore the level inside the plant’s tanks.

Internal pneumatic elevator: a pneumatic elevator can be installed inside the washing tank in order to facilitate loading and unloading operations. At the end of the washing treatment, this system makes it possible to remove the piece from the liquid: a self-drying process is often started if the piece is dripping and hot.
